Tell us about your favourite place in Phnom Penh: There are so many, but if I had to choose one, I would say Pteachas. It is always super inspiring to spend some time there and such a beautiful place.
What’s the story or inspiration behind Maison Louma: I grew up between 2 cultures (French and Chinese). In a Chinese household, there are a lot of traditions, values, symbols that are part of our daily life and important life events. Maison Louma was a way for me to reconnect with my Chinese culture and explore the deeper meanings of it all. Through Maison Louma, I try to honour the beautiful heritage my grandparents and parents passed on to me and my siblings.
Name one thing you cannot find in Cambodia and that you miss: There are some Chinese snacks you can find in the Chinatown of Paris, that are definitely something I miss a lot.
If you could have any product from the SATU collection (other than your own), what would it be: I love Sitara Vintage’s headbands. I already got matching headbands for me and my daughter. But I would love to have them all !
What was the last gift you gave someone: Advent calendars with chocolates !
After answering these questions, you walk outside and find $1,000 on your doorstep. What would you spend it on: I would probably fly my mom out to Phnom Penh right away. She lives in France and rarely travels. And that would be the best surprise for my kids.
