Theam's Gallery is one of our favourite spots in Siem Reap and such a beautiful place to visit. It is the home, atelier, gallery and private collection of Lim Muy Theam, one of the most important contemporary Cambodian artists. In the workshops, the original dream of Theam takes shape: both knowledge and know-how are passed on to a new generation of artisans. Sculpture, lacquer polychrome, gold-leaf gilding … so many arts and techniques to create traditional Khmer products that have been developed to match with the modern lifestyle. Combining vibrant colours and traditional crafts, Theam’s Gallery has created objects that will bring warmth to any home.
