Black Champa - Champaca and Labdanum
Notes - Champaca flower, Oudh, Labdanum, Patchouli, Chocolate, Rhododendron
Immerse yourself in the sultry allure of Black Champa, a dark floral perfume that embodies mystery, ceremony, and indulgence.
Exotic Champaca flower buds take center stage, their honeyed richness and velvety texture unfolding like a tropical Cambodian evening. A hint of rich Cocoa absolute adds a soft sweetness to the top note, evoking a balmy atmosphere of mystique.
The heart of the fragrance reveals the resinous warmth of Labdanum, its amber undertones deepened by exotic Oud—a whisper of woodiness that lingers on the skin. The delicate floral complexity of Rhododendron enhances the richness, while a subtle note of Sandalwood weaves through, adding an irresistible touch of decadence.
Black Champa is more than a fragrance—it’s a story of exotic blooms, ancient rituals, and sugary secrets waiting to be uncovered.

Please be aware that due to the natural ingredients we use the colour of our perfumes may vary from batch to batch. We do not add toxic UV blockers and stabilising chemicals to any of our perfumes as we like to keep things as natural as possible at Saarti.
The saarti journey started in 2012 when founder, Beck Scougall, made her first candle creation in Siem Reap, Cambodia. A passionate advocate of fair trade and conscious consumerism Beck wanted to create an eco-lifestyle brand using natural and ethical products. Simply translated saarti means beautiful ceremony of light. 'Sa art' is the Cambodian word for beautiful and Aarti is the name of the spectacular Hindu ceremony involving candles and incense. The saarti collection now includes the signature range of hand poured candles, botanical perfumes as well 100% natural pure essentials oils. Saarti is committed to using the finest natural ingredients, ethically sourced from Cambodia and the surrounding region and empowering local communities through employment.
