Queen Soma-Devi, the first legendary ruler of the Khmer kingdom of Funan, was a Nagini — a serpent deity in human form, born of the Naga King who ruled the sacred waters of the Mekong. By marrying the foreign prince Kaundinya, she united land and water, giving rise to the ancient Khmer Empire. Inspired by her myth, Soma is a perfume of contrasts — a dance between light and depth, softness and strength
