Art Bottle
The design on this bottle is taken from the Bas-Relief which adorn Bayon Temple (12th Century AD) depicting historical and/or religious scenes with battles and processions.
Baray For Life involves different artists to reflect Cambodian culture and designs. The Cola bottle and Thermos are made from Aluminum and the Clip On Bottle from Stainless steel, which are sustainable and can easily be recycled, they have a long lifespan unlike plastic. Part of the profit of this product goes to distribute free aluminum bottles to schoolchildren in rural areas of Cambodia. Currently, there is too much reliance on single use plastic in schools which pollutes the countryside or if lucky, may end up in a landfill. One of our partners is Refill Not Landfill organization as well as other NGO's who provide wells and water filtration systems in rural schools, so our free bottles complement their projects together with an educational aspect for future generations. By purchasing this item, you will be contributing to the local and
mostly underprivileged community. Thank you!
Artist for Bayon Series : Joshua Chiang, an illustrator and comic-artist, is well known for his Candid Cambodia series of artwork, in which he imagines Cambodia as a surreal and whimsical place where vehicles and passengers comically stack onto one another defying the laws of physics; mythical beings and ordinary people co-exist in the same space; and children ride on endangered wildlife on bicycles. Joshua's sense of humor, keen eye for detail, and love of storytelling are what makes his artwork so appealing.
